Fantasy sports have become a global addiction and the members of “The League” represent the growing popularity of the game as knowledgeable and competitive owners and sports fans battling for money, pride, and fantasy glory. With it concluding its 20th season in 2024, “The League” has become the most exciting and competitive fantasy football league out there. What began in 2005 has become a yearly phenomenon in which its members fight for the coveted championship prize. Nine of the current 10 members have been a part of “The League” for at least 19 of its 20 seasons, five playing in all 20. The continuity from year to year is there and only growing, especially with the implementation of keeper rules over the past 14 seasons. “The League — Basketball Style" is in its 14th season of existence and the hope is that we will begin to see the same continuity and level of competition as football as we continue to add seasons to its history.

My fantasy college football team
There's fantasy football and then there's fantasy college football. Believe it or not, "The League" takes it to another level — down a level to be exact — to the college game.
Players put up crazy numbers, teams put up crazy points and it leads to a crazy all-day fantasy experience. Games start at noon and aren't done until around 2 a.m., and with "The

"League" expanding to 14 teams anything can happen. After winning its first title in "The League's" second season of existence, DBuddaZ failed to make the playoffs in 2014 for the first time in team history. It rebounded with three straight semifinal appearances — including back-to-back trips to the finals in 2016 and 2017 — and another semifinal appearance in 2023.

Championship recap
Place At The Table got double-digits from all eight starters, including a matchup-high 29.3 points from LeQuint Allen, to help it defeat Hurricane Warning 149.36-116.66 and win the team's first championship. Place At The Table has now made the playoffs five times in its seasons as a member of "The League," including five straight appearances, and it's moved into second place all-time in regular-season winning percentage.
My fantasy college basketball team
Fantasy college basketball is perhaps the hardest fantasy sport to predict, weighing the worth of super-hyped freshmen against experienced seniors topping the list. Similar to the NBA and MLB, teams battle over the course of a week. Certain stats are given a point value and the team that earns the most total points over the course of the week earns the win. After consecutive trips to the championship game over "The League's" first two seasons, DBuddaZ has made the playoffs just twice in the last five seasons. Both of those trips to the postseason ended with semifinal defeats.
Team history

2012-13: 9-5, won championship
2013-14: 7-7, missed playoffs (seventh place)
2014-15: 8-5, lost in semifinals (fourth place)
2015-16: 6-7, missed playoffs (10th place)

2017-18: 8-5, lost in semifinals (fourth place)
2019-20: 4-11, missed playoffs (ninth place)
The college basketball version of "The League" has folded
"The League" has merged with another college basketball league, and while DBuddaZ was initially part of the transfer owner David Kiarsis has decided to hang 'em up. DBuddaZ's college basketball franchise is no more following a 53-56 all-time record, four playoff appearances, two championship berths, and one title.
