When it took over the franchise formerly known as FORTYS, Jamie Ansorge became the first new member of "The League" with no prior experience since Black Kemba and Lopez Towers joined before the 2012-13 season. He has been a vital part of the fantasy football version of "The League" as one of its most successful and crafty owners. Ansorge inherited the franchise — now known as The Sorge — and quickly made a number of impact changes both in the offseason and during the regular season that led to one of the most successful debut seasons in league history.

That debut season included deals to acquire Andre Drummond as a long-term keeper, a mid-season trade that saw it send away Isaiah Thomas for win-now pieces, and a top-four finish during the regular season. It won its first-ever postseason game, but lost in the semifinals to eventual runner-up Black Kemba. It followed its debut season by putting together one of the greatest seasons in league history. It finished with the second-most wins and the third-best winning percentage in a single season on its way to becoming the second team in league history to win regular-season and championship titles in the same season.

It one-upped that campaign by winning it all again in 2019, and then completing the three-peat with a third championship five seasons ago. With its three straight titles sandwiched around the coronavirus-shortened campaign, The Sorge now already sits first in championships — it was the first team to win back-to-back titles in league history let alone three straight — top four in regular-season winning percentage and playoff appearances, first in playoff wins — it won a league-record 10 straight playoff games before its 2022 semifinal defeat — first in playoff winning percentage, and second in money won.
