"The League - Basketball Style" Hardware

In its 14-year existence, "The League — Basketball Style" has seen nine different owners hoist championship hardware. Although it may not be as memorable as a finals trophy, a regular-season title is noteworthy in its own respect. The consistency a team must show every night to finish a five-month season atop the standings can't go understated. A team can often get hot in the playoffs on its way to winning a title, but sustained regular-season success is usually more indicative of which is the best team. On the other hand, let's face it: Everyone remembers the champion at the end of the year and what it takes for a team to win the ultimate prize, and we've seen eight different teams win championship titles. Title Town pays respect to those that have enjoyed championship glory in the past and challenges all to strive for similar success in the future.

"Some people want it to happen, some people wish it would happen, others make it happen." Michael Jordan
