DBuddaZ has come a long way as a franchise since its first season in "The League of Leagues." A newcomer to fantasy baseball, DBuddaZ had an up-and-down first season in 2010 that ended with it missing the postseason after a 14-2 loss in the final week of the regular season. But 13 years later and that's just one of two seasons it's failed to qualify for the postseason, and the 2017, '18, and '19 seasons cemented the franchise as the best in league history.

The resume speaks for itself. It won its third, fourth, and fifth regular-season championships 2017 through 2019, which is the most in league history. It has the best regular-season winning percentage, the second-best postseason winning percentage, and the most playoff victories in league history. It's qualified for the playoffs 12 of the last 13 seasons, and its 12 consecutive postseason appearances from 2011-2023 is the longest streak in league history. It's played in a league-record six finals, is one of just four teams with multiple championships and has won a league-record four championships. It finished the 2017 season on a 16-game unbeaten streak, posting a 15-0-1 weekly record and a 152-62-10 overall record during that timeframe. It was the second-best single season in league history in terms of winning percentage, but it'll go down as the best and most dominant team in league history. DBuddaZ extended that unbeaten streak to 22 weekly matchups before its first defeat to begin the 2018 season.

DBuddaZ's first title game defeat came in 2014, and after the way that season ended, man was its 2015 title — the second in franchise history — sweet. After winning its first championship in 2012 — a season that started with a 27-48-3 record through the first five weeks of the season and ended with 11 wins in the final 16 weeks — DBuddaZ was one-and-done in the 2013 playoffs after finishing in third place. Of the 12 seasons DBuddaZ has made the postseason, 2013, 2016, and 2023 are the only times it failed to finish in the top two of the standings and earn a first-round bye.

Despite not winning any championships, 2014 was one of DBuddaZ's best teams ever. It was certainly one of its most balanced, finishing in the top half of "The League of Leagues" in 13 of 14 statistical categories. It held first place for a number of weeks and never dropped out of the top four, but lost the regular-season championship by a half game. In the postseason, it dismantled the reigning champion BallSoHardU in the semifinals to advance to its second final in franchise history. In what was a tightly contested final between the top-two seeds for the second straight season, DBuddaZ ultimately fell short to the regular-season champion BKNets914 when it hit three home runs in its last nine at bats to steal the title.

But DBuddaZ rebounded in 2015 with what was its best season to that point, and the fifth-best in league history (DBuddaZ has enjoyed five of the 10 best single seasons in league history). It lost just five weekly matchups all season, only two of which were by a margin greater than two and none in which it lost double-digit statistical categories. It won its final 10 weekly matchups — the longest regular-season winning streak in league history — to earn the No. 1 seed.

In the postseason, it defeated BallSoHardU in the semifinals for the second straight season to advance to its third final in four seasons. The top-two teams met in the finals for the third straight season when DBuddaZ faced off against Big Betts. It was back and forth for much of the week, and it wasn't decided until the Sunday night game when DBuddaZ outlasted Big Betts thanks to the tiebreaker rule to win its second championship. It was the second time in three seasons that the champion was decided by the postseason tiebreaker rules.

DBuddaZ's title defense fell short in the semifinals at the hands of Big Betts in 2016, but its dominant 2017 season more than made up for it. It lost just three times all season — the Sunday of the week of its last lost being May 21 — defeated nine of 10 teams at least twice over the course of the season, and became the first team to lose less than 100 games in a single season.

It then made good on a title defense by becoming the first franchise to win back-to-back titles with its 2018 championship victory. Although its bid for a three-peat fell short in 2019, it added to its illustrious trophy case with another regular-season title and finals appearance. It's now won all five of its regular-season championships in the last 13 seasons, including four of the last nine — it didn't finished a regular season lower than third place from 2011-2023 — and it's made six trips to the finals in the last 12 seasons. It's clearly "The League of Leagues'" gold standard franchise.
