Toxic Masculinity is perhaps the most perplexing franchise in “The League.” In its first four seasons, it posted three double-digit win campaigns, advanced to the semifinals of the playoffs four times, including a championship game berth in 2007, and was one of the most successful teams in league history. From 2009-2012, however, Toxic Masculinity posted four straight losing seasons, winning no more than four games the final three years of that stretch. To show you just how far it had fallen: In each of those four seasons, it at least equaled its loss total from its first three seasons combined.

That frustration has only continued for the franchise since as it remains one of just three teams in "The League" yet to win a championship. It made finals appearances in 2013, 2017 and 2023, but came up short, and it's missed the postseason entirely six times in the last 11 years including back-to-back 5-8 finishes in 2019 and 2020. It remains one of "The League's" five best teams from an all-time regular-season winning percentage perspective, but that means little for a franchise that has become championship or bust at the beginning of every new league year.
