The Sorge has one of "The League's" most decorated resumes, headlined by four championships and the most regular-season accolades of any team. It's won a league-record six scoring and seven regular-season titles, including three straight regular-season championships from 2012-2014, and it owns the second-best regular-season winning percentage in league history. It's won the second-most division titles, it's made the most playoff appearances, and it's played in and won the most playoff games in league history.
The problem with The Sorge's recent playoff resume, however, was just one finals appearance since those back-to-back titles prior to the 2021 season. The 2021 season solved that problem with The Sorge finally solving its biggest playoff nemesis. The Sorge made a sixth straight postseason appearance — the longest active streak in "The League" that is now at nine straight — and defeated the two-time defending champion DBuddaZ in the finals. That win snapped a four-game postseason losing streak to DBuddaZ and matched it for the most championships in league history.
It went all in for a back-to-back title run in 2022, trading franchise player Josh Allen for a collection of players and while they got it back to the finals it couldn't capture a league-record fifth championship. It set a number of postseason league records on the way and it's clearly one of the premiere franchises in "The League."
